The installation for MAC OS is everything but straightforward. Follow this guide to complete the installation.


  1. Click the download link in the email from VRIPRE Security.
  2. When download finishes, double-click the downloaded .pkg file to begin the installation
  3. If you encounter a "developer cannot be verified message", click Cancel and open System Preferences. Otherwise, skip to #6.
  4. Go to Security & Privacy. Click the Open Anyway button in the General pane to confirm your intent to open or install the app. 
  5. The warning prompt reappears, and this time you'll click Open. 
  6. On the Introduction screen, click Continue
  7. On the License screen, you’re presented with the End-User License Agreement. Click Continue
  8. Review the license agreement. If you agree with the terms, click Agree

  9. On the Installation Type screen, choose an install location, or click Install to use the default
  10. On the Destination Select screen, click Continue
  11. The installer will ask for an admin User Name and Password to continue. Enter your User Name and Password and click Install Software
  12. The installer will copy the application to your hard disk. When you see “The installation was successful,” click Close to finish
